Money advice

We know that money worries can be really stressful, so we’ll do everything we can to support you. This section includes useful information to help you stay on top of your finances.

Talk to us about your money worries

We offer a free, confidential money advice service to all of our tenants. Whether you’re looking for practical support, advice on budgeting or more information about how to manage your bills, our Financial Inclusion Officers are there for you. Sitting down with one of our Financial Inclusion team will give you the chance to plan your expenses and discuss your financial situation.

How can a Financial Inclusion Officer help?

When you get in touch with us about your money worries, we will ask a Financial Inclusion Officer to make an appointment to discuss your situation with you in more detail. This conversation could be over the phone or in person, either at our offices or in your home. Our service is honest, non-judgemental and treats everyone with respect.

The Financial Inclusion Officers can work with you to see if you’re receiving the right benefits, provide you with Food Bank vouchers and refer you to other services if necessary. We can also support you with reviews of benefits decisions and at benefit hearings.

For more information on our tenancy support services, download our leaflet now.

If you’re meeting with one of our Financial Inclusion Officers, please fill out a Financial Statement form beforehand, so we can get an idea of your situation before we meet.

Get in touch with us on 0800 2182247 to start feeling better about your finances.

Further financial support and advice

Some money issues are too complex for our Financial Inclusion Officers to help with. However, we can refer you to specialist services which may be better suited to your situation.

Also, there are lots of organisations out there that can offer help, support, advice and useful tools to help you save and manage your money. We recently partnered with Citizens Advice Watford for a new project called Your Money Matters which gives our tenants a fast track to tailored, expert money advice.
