Our annual general meeting (AGM) takes place on 15 September 2025. If you are unable to join the AGM in person, please complete this form by 5.45pm on Saturday 13 September.
If you do not wish to attend the AGM or join it online, you can still have your say by appointing a proxy to vote on your behalf. Your proxy can be another member who is attending the AGM, or you can appoint the Chair of the meeting as your proxy – you can instruct them on how they should vote.
All you need to do is fill in the form below and click on the button at the bottom of the page.
1. As a member, you are entitled to appoint a proxy to exercise all or any of your rights to attend, speak and vote at a general meeting.
2. Appointment of a proxy does not stop you from attending the meeting and voting in person. If you have appointed a proxy and attend the meeting in person, your proxy appointment will automatically be void.
3. If you do not know who to ask to be your proxy, you can appoint the Chair to be your proxy instead. If you do not indicate who your proxy is on the form it will be assumed that it is the Chair.
4. If you do not appoint the Chair as your proxy please note that your proxy must be a member of Watford Community Housing.
5. If you do not give your proxy an indication of how to vote on any resolution in this form, your proxy can vote how they want to or decide not to vote at all.
6. To be valid the proxy form should be completed and submitted by 5.45pm Saturday 13 September 2025. Any proxy form completed late will be invalid.
7. Any question as to the validity of a proxy will be determined by the Chair of the meeting – their decision is final.
8. If you are a power of attorney of a member, or you hold other formal authorisation to appoint a proxy on behalf of a member, then please attach a copy of this to the form.
9. If you change your mind about who your proxy is, how you would like to vote or if you decide you would like to attend the meeting in person then please let us know by contacting the Governance team at Governance@wcht.org.uk or 01923 209 061. You may need to follow this up with a new proxy form or written confirmation. We will take the last proxy form we receive as your proxy vote.
