Community organisations across Watford are coming together to offer vital help and support to people affected by the coronavirus crisis.

At Watford Community Housing, we are working closely with Watford Borough Council, which is bringing together partners from across the town to support local communities, as we face Covid-19 together. Through the Watford Helps programme, over 1,000 volunteers have given their time to help the most vulnerable people in our area.

Whether it's by helping with shopping, accessing emergency food supplies, collecting prescriptions or walking dogs, these volunteers are here to provide practical support to people who are self-isolating or vulnerable to the virus.

The help doesn’t end there, and volunteers are even available for a friendly chat for anyone who is struggling in isolation and feeling lonely. However you need a helping hand, Watford Helps can support you.

If you would like to find out more about the support the organisation can offer and register your interest visit www.watford.gov.uk/watfordhelps. You can also call the team on 01923 278503 or email enquiries@watford.gov.uk.
