This winter has been very hard for lots of our tenants with many having to make tough decisions about whether they can afford to heat their home.

In response to this, we are hosting a series of ‘welcoming spaces’ which offers a place to keep warm and save some money on their heating – everyone is welcome!

From 9 January 2023, our ‘welcoming spaces’ will be open for anyone to drop in, have a hot drink and a natter, play a board game, or bring the kids along for some fun at one of our ‘stay and play’ sessions.

Sessions will take place at:

Luther Blissett Hub

  • Mondays – 10am until 12pm – ‘board game cafe’
  • Wednesdays and Thursdays – 10am until 11am – ‘stay and play’

Leavesden Green Hub

  • Mondays – 10am until 12pm (term time) – Lighthouse Cafe
  • Fridays – 10am until 12pm – ‘board game cafe’

We are also very pleased that many of our independent living schemes and hubs are hosting ‘welcoming spaces’ on various weekdays. Click here to see the full list of places to visit in Watford.
