For those that may not know, last year we launched a new app that allows residents to safely and securely record and report noise as it is happening, and then send it directly to their Housing Officer.
Since promoting the app to our residents, we are pleased to have seen a significant reduction in noise complaints! In 2023/24, noise complaints halved compared to the previous year, and we have managed to close 48 anti-social behaviour cases with the help of the noise app.
We are always looking to improve our services, and so based on feedback we received from residents, we are upgrading the app to contain some useful new features:
These new features allow us to have greater insight into the situation, helping us to determine whether it is noise nuisance and how we can provide the right support.
