We know that many of you are looking for ways to help the people of Ukraine, so here are a few organisations you may wish to support that can make a difference:

  • Goods for Good is a local charity which we work with regularly. They send donated goods to vulnerable communities around the world and have set up a humanitarian aid hub on the Polish border with Ukraine to deliver essential bedding, clothing, footwear, and toiletries.
  • The British Red Cross has launched an appeal to help the Ukrainian Red Cross provide food, medicine, clothing, and shelter.
  • The With Ukraine Global Support Fund is a special fund to support Ukraine, set up by the Ukrainian embassy in the UK.
  • Choose Love is a non-profit that provides medical care, food, clothing, shelter and legal aid, as well as supporting Ukraine’s LGBTQ+ community.
  • Save the Children is providing cash assistance, food and other support to refugees crossing into Romania and Lithuania, as well as in Ukraine itself.
  • The Disaster Emergency Committee has set up a donation website bringing together a number of agencies working to support Ukraine and its citizens.
  • Take a look at the government's guidance on support available to Ukrainian nationals and their family members, including The Ukraine Family Scheme and Local Sponsorship Scheme for Ukraine.
  • One of the best ways to help is to stay informed on recent developments. We’d recommend the following sources: The Kyiv Independent and The New Voice of Ukraine.
