Spending Mother’s Day with our Solo Stars!

On Saturday 26 March we celebrated Mother’s Day early with our Solo Stars. For those that don’t already know, Solo Stars is a group of single parents who are residents of Watford Community Housing. This was a chance for families to get together and celebrate the wonderful mums out there and all they do for their children.

To help make this Mother’s Day special, the Communities team and Families & Carers network of our EDI group joined forces to host an Afternoon Tea event for single mums to enjoy with their children. This included lots of tea, cake, presents, and children making sparkly and colourful arts & crafts!
