What is the opportunity?

Skills bootcamps are free, flexible courses for people looking for a new role or opportunity.

The Introduction to Private Security Skills Bootcamp is a fully funded, hands-on training programme designed to launch you into the frontline of the private security industry. Whether you're interested in retail security, door supervision, mobile patrol, or event protection, this bootcamp equips you with the essential skills and qualifications to thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand sector.

No prior experience? No problem. This bootcamp is designed to take you from beginner to job-ready in just two weeks.

Eligibility? 

  • Are aged 19 or over
  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Live in England
  • Meet residency requirements specific to the location you are undertaking your training

What you’ll gain

Upon successful completion, you’ll walk away with:

  • Level 3 First Aid at Work
  • Level 2 Award in Working as a Door Supervisor
  • Skills in conflict management, first aid, and physical intervention
  • A fully funded SIA Door Supervision License, unlocking access to a wide range of security roles
