Charlott’s Easter egg & Eid treats fundraising drive!

It’s always great to hear about the wonderful things our tenants do to support their own communities – today we would like to shout about Charlott and her daughter River!

In 2022, Charlott and River came to our staff conference to talk to us about the charity work they do together and to encourage us to take part. We carved, stuck together and painted wooden toys that were given to children who sadly had to stay in the hospital over Christmas.

After the success of the toy drive, the family are doing it all over again! This year they are collecting Easter eggs and Eid treats to distribute across five local charities who support sick, disabled and vulnerable children across Watford. The charities are Raise: West Hertfordshire Hospitals Charity, Home-Start Watford & Three Rivers, Watford Mencap, Clean Herts and Children’s Peace Centre.
