At Watford Community Housing, we deliver better homes and friendlier communities together. Across South-West Hertfordshire, we own over 5,000 homes and, by working closely with residents and the local area, we provide high-quality services which improve your everyday life.
As a Community Gateway organisation, we place tenants and community empowerment at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to working closely with residents to ensure we deliver high quality homes and services.
Tenants and leaseholders can become members, enabling them to get involved in decision making and vote on important issues.
We are governed by our Board, which is made up of tenants, leaseholders, independents and councillors. Our Board is responsible for achieving our aims and objectives as an organisation, while our Leadership Team has responsibility for delivering our Business Plan.
We also have an elected Gateway Membership Team, made up of nine tenants and residents, to ensure that our communities have a strong voice within our organisation and direct access to our Board.
Communities are at the heart of everything we do; we work with a range of different people to achieve our vision and we are committed to working closely with our residents and our local community.
As a registered provider and charity, Watford Community Housing is committed to eliminating corruption and bribery and achieving the highest standards of governance in all its activities. Watford Community Housing wishes to carry out its business transparently and fairly and therefore operates a zero tolerance policy towards corruption and bribery. Watford Community Housing expects that any organisation wishing to undertake business with us or any organisation being invited to undertake business with us must also demonstrate such commitment to conducting business without corruption and bribery.
