Lift outages at Abbey View and Munden View

Our contractor, Simi Homes, are carrying out works on the lifts at Abbey View and Munden View to help find a long-term solution to the outages.

Residents of Abbey View and Munden View have been directly informed about the planned improvement works being carried out by Simi Homes. These works are to identify a long-term solution to the issues we are experiencing with the lifts and to reduce the number of breakdowns – as opposed to a short-term fix that may not last.

Below is the full timetable of works and outages planned from Monday 13 October to Sunday 19 October.

While there will be some necessary planned outages, we will always aim to have at least one lift operational for the duration of the works. If both lifts are unavailable at one time, we will have extra contractors on site to support our residents.

Please be patient with us and the contractors from Simi while these works take place to improve the lifts in your block.

Munden View: Lifts 1 and 2 will be taken out of service at different times between 8am and 4.30pm. At least one lift will always remain operational.

Munden View: Lifts 1 and 2 will be taken out of service at different times between 8am and 4.30pm. At least one lift will always remain operational. However, both lifts will be unavailable for two hours between 10am and 12pm.
