Supporting our residents to start a career in housing!

We are pleased to be offering our residents the chance to complete a Level 2 Certificate in Housing Practice – fully funded by Watford Community Housing.

This is a Chartered Institute of Housing academy qualification that gives residents a basic understanding of housing and an introduction to some of the skills and knowledge necessary to participate in housing related activities.

It is a 16-week online course that allows you to learn at your own pace, and at a time that is convenient for you! 

As part of the course, you will also volunteer with us for a minimum of 12 hours over the whole year, and you will have the opportunity to take part in short courses offered by TPAS (an organisation that champions tenant involvement and engagement) in order to build on your skills and see how they would work in a real housing environment. 

We had two residents start in October, but there is still space for others to start in December, or for the next enrolment in March.
