We’re committed to building sustainable, friendly and positive communities, and we encourage our customers to embrace diversity, accepting each other and the right of everyone to live life as they wish. However, if another person is acting in a way which causes a nuisance, damage or distress, we will take action to address it.
If you’re experiencing or have witnessed anti-social behaviour in your neighbourhood, please report it to us. You can call 0800 2182247, email firstname.lastname@example.org, report it on your account or fill in the form below.
If you witness a crime, please report it on 101, and in an emergency always call 999.
The phrase ‘anti-social behaviour’ covers a wide range of actions, all of which cause nuisance, damage or hurt to people or the environment. Examples of anti-social behaviour include:
Some examples of anti-social behaviour are also crimes. For example supplying illegal drugs, threatening or abusive behaviour and racial discrimination. In these cases, please also call the police on 101 to report what you’ve seen, so we can work with them in tackling and monitoring the problem.
There are a number of ways we can take action when you report anti-social behaviour. We adopt a three step approach, which consists of community engagement to avoid instances re-occurring, providing safe and confidential support for victims, and finally taking enforcement action against perpetrators. This means we will work with partners, such as the police and other support agencies, to help put in place anti-social behaviour orders or evict perpetrators where necessary.
Some cases require a lot of evidence to be built up before we can take action. This may involve further contribution from external agencies, and can lead to cases taking some time to resolve. By providing consistent evidence and accurate reports, we can work together to make our communities safer and happier.
