Take part in the government's tenant engagement survey

After the Grenfell Tower tragedy earlier this year, the Prime Minister announced that the government would meet and engage with social housing tenants to hear about the issues and concerns you may experience and to gain an understanding of how there can be a more effective voice for tenants.

As part of this, Alok Sharma MP, the Minister of State for Housing and Planning, is conducting a survey. The feedback questionnaire offers an opportunity for all council, housing association and housing co-op tenants to express their views on key issues and concerns related to social housing based on their own housing experience. The survey will help the government to build a detailed picture of the issues tenants face in social housing, and therefore will help inform the national approach to tenant issues in the future.

This survey is a chance for social housing residents to have their say, so the more views the better! It's important that you encourage as many people as you can to take the questionnaire - invite your family, friends and neighbours to take part.

The results of this survey will be published in a paper on social housing in the new year.
