Once you have been transferred to Universal Credit your benefits will be paid directly into your bank account, so if you do not have a bank account you will need to open one. There will no longer be any weekly payments.
Universal Credit will be paid once a month and in arrears.
You will have to make sure that your rent payment is paid to us – we now offer a flexible direct debit service which can help you.
