Another successful community clean up day!

On the very cold and wet Saturday 27th November, a group of volunteers braved the rain to clean up the Riverside Road area for our residents. 

Kennedy Rodrigues, who is part of our Group Board and the Oxhey Lib Dems, asked for funding for some skips as the Lib Dems wanted to organise a community led clean up event, and to gauge if there would interest in a Tenant Resident Association (TRA). We were more than happy to help out!

It must have been the coldest day of the year so far, but despite this it was a very productive day with lots of positive feedback including some interest in setting up a TRA in this area. One of our lovely tenants even brought out cups of tea for some of our volunteers as she thought they looked so cold!

We provided two skips and Engie kindly provided another – with 10 volunteers in total these were filled in no time! Thank you to Engie, Veolia, all our volunteers and our tenants for helping to clean up the community
