The pandemic has meant we have not seen as many of our customers as we would have liked to over the past 19 months, which is why we were so excited to reconnect with our residents in the local community on Wednesday 15th September, as part of The Big Door Knock 2021.
Equipped with a special edition of Voice and our trademark purple T-shirts, our staff headed out with the aim of hearing from as many of our customers as possible. We wanted to let you know what we’d been up to, keep you up to date on improvements to our services, and most importantly, listen to your concerns.
Though we’ve continued to deliver vital services throughout the pandemic, the restrictions had previously stopped us from being at the heart of the communities that we serve. The Big Door Knock presented us with a brilliant opportunity to talk in person with our customers, hearing about your challenges, and collating your feedback to enhance our services.

We were also heartened to hear from many residents who were happy to have us back out and about, and were particularly enthused about some of our new housing developments as part of the Watford Social Rent Programme.
The Big Door Knock was primarily about reconnecting with you, our customers, and we sincerely hope that you now feel closer and more connected with our team, who will be working hard to address any issues, ensuring we provide the best service possible.
