Supporting the Samaritans

On her journey to our Gateway House office, our Community and Customer Engagement Manager noticed that the front garden of the Samaritans building was very overgrown, and that the paths were quite blocked. 

We contacted the South West Herts Samaritans to see if we could help in any way, since we know they offer such amazing support to those in need, including our tenants, and they were delighted that we offered to tidy up the front garden for them! 

So, on the 10^th November our Estates team joined forces with our contractor, Accuro, and got to work on the front garden to make the pathways more accessible. 

Every day, Samaritans volunteers respond to around 10,000 calls for help. They are there twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week for anyone who’s struggling to cope or who needs someone to listen without judgement.
