Our latest partnership bringing new homes for affordable rent

We’re excited to announce the recent completion of our latest properties for affordable rent!

The new development at Long Arrotts is one of six former garage sites being developed in partnership with Dacorum Borough Council to provide much-needed homes to be let at just 80% of the current market rate. 

Completed in September 2021, this site is now home to a spacious 4-bedroom bungalow, as well as six 2-bedroom dual aspect flats. In addition to the airy, modern design of the new homes, residents will also benefit from off-street parking, bicycle storage space and a shared garden. 

As part of our commitment to embracing sustainability, the flats were built using off-site manufacturing, thereby minimising the environmental impact of this development, and allowing us to complete the build in a shorter time than traditional processes would ordinarily allow.

Also due for completion by 2022 as part of the programme with Dacorum Borough Council are five 2-bedroom houses at Hyde Meadows and two 3-bedroom houses on Pulleys Lane, all of which are to be let for affordable rent.

This is the third of six sites to be completed, in a development programme which aims to improve accessibility to modern, energy-efficient housing for those unable to afford to rent or buy a home on the open market.
