Celebrating Herts Pride 2021!

On Saturday 14^th August, Hertfordshire’s biggest LGBTQ+ event took place in Cassiobury Park!

Volunteers from our Housing, Development and Customer Relationships teams came together to celebrate our LGBTQ+ communities. There was a wonderful atmosphere filled with many smiles and bright colours, our team had great fun handing out Rainbow Drops to all the children, trying to educate ourselves on all the different flags, and saying hello to all the adorable dogs taking part in the dog show. 

We also had a great time catching up with some of our tenants and letting everyone know about our commitment to championing inclusivity and diversity, as well as creating safer and friendlier communities for all.

Tina Barnard, our Chief Executive said: “Herts Pride guarantees an inclusive and uplifting day of celebrating and supporting our LGBTQ+ residents, communities and colleagues; and this year was no different. We are very proud to have sponsored the event and loved having the opportunity to engage with our residents in such a positive environment.”
