Your community

Your Gateway

As a Community Gateway organisation, our tenants can get involved with how we’re run, and help us make key decisions about our future.

The Gateway Membership Team act as your representatives in the organisation. Made up of tenants and non-tenants (called co-optees), the team use their time and position to make sure your voice is heard.

They meet quarterly to review the performance of the organisation, host events and hold discussions with staff and the Group Board – giving them the chance to listen to and share your views, which helps to shape our services.

The Gateway Membership Team also play an active role outside of their own group. They attend the TPAS conference every year, help support recruitment in the business and play a key role in our Annual General Meeting.

You can keep up to date with the activities, events and interests of the Gateway Membership Team in the ‘Your Voice’ section of Voice, our quarterly newsletter.

Get in touch!

The Gateway Membership Team want to hear from you. You can get in touch to let them know about the things that are important to you, by emailing community@wcht.org.uk

Join the team and help make a difference

We are always looking for people to represent tenants on our Gateway Membership Team – and help make a difference.

As a member of our Gateway Membership team, you would represent tenants by spending a few hours a month helping us to improve our communities and services. You would offer valuable input into our decision-making as we work to deliver better homes and friendlier communities.

As well as being able to make a difference to your community, you can pick up vital skills and business experience to help you in your career. We also pay your expenses, offer IT support and cover the cost for you to attend high-level training and conferences.

If you are interested in working with us to improve your community, please get in touch to find out more. We’d be happy to talk it through with you.

Call us on 0800 218 2247 or email community@wcht.org.uk. Alternatively, you can fill in the form on this page.
